THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: It is learnt that a special team led by Station House Officer (SHO) will investigate the complaints in the case against actor and BJP leader Krishna Kumar. The shop's accounts will be audited first. The audit will be conducted by a government institution or a private firm led by the police. The initial assessment of the police is that financial irregularities have taken place in the shop. The police also clarified that there are lapses from the side of Krishna Kumar for bargaining with the employees without informing the police about the irregularities. The police have also collected CCTV footage of the shop.

The Museum Police have registered a case against Krishna Kumar and his daughter Diya Krishna on the complaint of female employees of Diya's establishment 'Oh by Ozy'. The complaint is that the employees were kidnapped, threatened and extorted money by promising to solve the financial fraud problem. The Museum Police registered two cases against them.

Krishna Kumar had earlier filed a complaint stating that the employees of the establishment had embezzled Rs 69 lakh. In this complaint, the police had registered a case against the employees. Following this, employees filed a complaint against Krishna Kumar and Diya. However, Krishna Kumar said the complaint is false.

Meantime, the women employees alleged that for Diya this is just a YouTube content and decided to quit their job because she insulted them in name of their caste. ‘We were taken in three cars and took us to another office that did not have a CCTV camera. There were about ten people there. They also took our phones. There were death threats against us. A man disguised as police threatened us. We decided to quit our job after Diya's delivery. Diya’s character is different. She would drag our family members into everything. As she insulted us in the name of caste, we decided to quit our job.

Diya and her family locked the three of us in a room on May 30. Then demanded our husbands to bring money. Gave them Rs 8 lakhs after pledging our gold. It was Diya who asked us to deposit money in our account. We usually would hand over the money to Diya later. This was done due to tax issue. Diya came up with this problem only after we stopped working. Diya did not have this problem when we worked for a year,’ the female employees explained.
