BJP activist held for stealing money from temple in Palakkad

PALAKKAD: A woman was arrested for stealing money from the hundi (offering box) of a temple. She has been identified as Prabhavathy, who was BJP candidate of 17th ward of Palakkad Nenmara panchayat. She stole money from the hundi of Nenmara Kanimangalam Puzhakkal Thara Mariyamman Temple. She stole the money from the temple last Friday. The temple committee then filed a complaint with the police. She was arrested following an investigation conducted focusing on the CCTV visuals.
