Bus-lorry collision in Perumbavoor leaves 30 students injured

KOCHI: 30 students from Kondotti EMEA College were injured in a collision between a bus and a lorry today at 3 am near the Perumbavoor signal junction. The bus, carrying 38 students on a tour from Munnar collided with a lorry heading towards Muvattupuzha.

Five people sustained serious injuries and were promptly transferred to a private hospital in Aluva. The accident involved not only students but also a teacher and his family who were on the bus. The group was returning from a recreational trip when the unfortunate incident occurred.
