Irregularities in PSC exam; Is a planned conspiracy behind omission of 10 questions?

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: There are hints that there was a planned conspiracy in the controversial recruitment exam for the Planning Board. It is reported that there was a conspiracy in the omission of 10 questions. The leader of the left organization, who got the first rank had six wrong answers. In addition, he did not answer four questions.

With this, it is hinted that the evaluation of 10 questions was completely omitted. The Special Investigation Team (SIT) has received a precise indication about those who

committed the irregularities. The investigation team will soon question the PSC officials. The SIT has received 90 complaints over the PSC exam irregularities so far.

The SIT is mainly investigating why ten questions of 54 marks were not evaluated in the exam for the post of chief of the industry and infrastructure department of the state planning board, which has a basic salary of Rs 1.5 lakh.

The irregularities were in the examination conducted on July 13, 2023 for the post of Chief (Industry and Infrastructure) in the State Planning Board under category number 249-2022. The FIR also states that the credibility of the PSC was damaged. The investigation is being conducted by an SIT led by IG Ajeetha Begum, SP Zacharia Mathew and DySP Ajayanath.
