PANDALAM: The LDF made a comeback in the Pandalam Municipality with a lead of 14 seats. The UDF won 11 seats. The NDA, which won 18 seats in the 2020 elections, has been reduced to nine seats this time. Although the Sabarimala controversies were used as a propaganda tool by other fronts against the LDF this time too, it did not bear fruit in the municipality. Although the initial results indicated that the UDF would attain administration, the final results changed. This is the second time that the LDF has won the lead since the municipality was formed. The last time the LDF, which assumed power in 2015, suffered a setback due to the socio-political controversies related to the entry of women in Sabarimala.
