Massive tree falls in front of Secretariat; traffic disrupted

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A massive tree collapsed in front of the Secretariat building, causing disruption in the area. The tree, located near the Cantonment gate, fell down by Monday afternoon. Fire and rescue personnel arrived at the spot and have begun cutting and removing the fallen tree. Traffic through the area has been temporarily suspended.

Fortunately, a major accident was averted as no one was under the tree at the time of the accident. The tree fell with a loud noise, prompting people nearby to run away from the area.
