Unidentified body found in Champakara canal, seems to be three days old, say police

KOCHI: An unidentified body was found in the Champakara canal. The body found is that of a male aged between 30 and 40. The locals found the body around 6 am Tuesday morning. He has not been identified.

The locals saw the body floating in the Thaikudam area of the Champakara canal. They then informed the police. The youth is wearing a black T-shirt and a black track suit. Police said the body seemed to be three days old. The body has been sent for postmortem. The Maradu police have started an investigation.
