Writer S Saradakutty's rare take on India’s ‘Operation Sindoor’ on Pakistan’s terror bastion has not bode well with the public. The Facebook post is now getting discussed on Malayalam social media space.

SARADAKUTTY:

“I don’t feel proud or excited hearing the retaliation news. I am not a fan of the ‘eye for an eye’ concept. If I had espoused the same notion of ‘eye for an eye’, I would have been stripped of the peace I’m enjoying now.

If someone throws a stone at my house, I will not bother to do the same to seek revenge. My inner self is filled with pride only when I hear the word "human", not when I hear the word "nation”. It's not the word "country" that makes my blood boil, but the word "human".

There is nothing greater than peace. It is not achieved by retaliation.”

Many people disagreed with her comments and asked her to denounce first the brutal terrorist attack in Pahalgam before turning against India's special operation to eliminate cross border terrorism.
