Film producer Raja Cherian passes away

KUNNAMKULAM: Renowned Malayalam film producer Raja Cherian (72) passed away on Tuesday. He was the producer of the 1982 film 'Enthono Pookkunna Pookal', starring Mohanlal, Mammootty, Ratheesh and Zarina Wahab.

He also produced other films such as 'Kayyethum Dhoorathu', 'Oru Mukham Pala Mukham' and 'Theere Pratheekshikkathe'. He also wrote the story for the 1987 film 'Kayyethum Dhoorathu.' The funeral will take place at 11 am today at St. Mary's Orthodox Cathedral Cemetery, Kunnamkulam. He is survived by wife Sarasa Raja Cherian, children Ravins Raj amd Rajath.
