Construction cost of two crores: new Brahmaratha in Mookambika temple

Kollur Mookambika Temple to get a new Brahmaratha. The new one was built to replace the old chariot which was more than 400 years old. The Brahmaratha used for the procession of the goddess is made of Teak and Avani planks. The cost is two crore rupees. Chief priest Ramachandra Adiga will officiate the Brahma Ratha consecration ceremonies to be held from tomorrow.
