KOZHIKODE: Farhana, one of the accused in the murder of hotel owner Siddique, has come with a new revelation. She told police that she did not kill him and everything was planned by Shibili. She said that she was in the room when the crime was committed. Everything was planned by Shibili and Ashiq and stood with them. When asked whether it was a honeytrap, she said that it is a lie and that she had not accepted a single rupee from Siddique. Farhana revealed that a dispute broke out between Shibili and Siddique in the room.

Evidence was collected from Farhana's house. The clothes worn by Farhana and Shibili at the time of the murder were burnt behind her house after the crime was committed. Police found the remains of it. The accused will be in custody of the police for five days.

Siddique was murdered on May 18 at D Casa Inn Hotel in Eranhipalam, Kozhikode. The body was later chopped into pieces and kept it in two trolley bags and then dumped at Attappadi Pass. Farhana brought Siddique to the D Casa Inn Hotel in order to honeytrap him and extort Rs 5 lakh. The authorities said this hotel does not have a license.
