Aadhaar free renewal date extended again

NEW DELHI: Details including address in Aadhaar can be updated free of cost till December 14. UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) has notified the extension of time. Earlier, the time allowed was till September 14.

Identity documents and address proof documents should be uploaded through the UIDAI official website. Online renewal can be done free of cost and Rs 50 must be paid for revision through Akshaya Kendras. UIDAI informed that those who took Aadhaar 10 years ago and did not update it should avail of the service.
