Suriya sustains injuries during shoot of Kanguva, shooting postponed

CHENNAI: Actor Suriya sustained injuries during the shooting of his new film Kanguva. The incident happened last night at 11 pm in the studio in Chennai where the shooting was going on. Reports said one rope cam broke and fell on the actor’s shoulder. It is hinted that the actor sustained minor injuries. Today’s shooting has been postponed.

Kanguva will be one of the biggest films in Suriya’s film career. The film directed by Siruthai Siva belongs to the category of period action drama. Suriya will be seen in five different roles. The film will be released in 38 languages, informed the producer Gnanavel Raja. The film is made on a budget of 350 crore. The film will have 3D-IMAX formats.

The film written by Adi Narayana has UV Creations as co-producers. Bollywood actress Disha Patani, makes her debut in the Tamil film industry. Other casts include Kovai Sarala, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Anand Raj, Ravi Raghavendra, K S Ravikumar, B S Avinash and many others.
