Rajasthan Inhumanity: Man kills daughter, sets her ablaze

JAIPUR: In a shocker of an incident, a man cut his daughter's throat and set her on fire, on Wednesday in Rajasthan. The incident took place last afternoon in Rajasthan's Pali district. Nirma (32) was killed due to her father's devilish act. Accused Shivlal Meghwal is absconding. The police said that they were searching for him.

For more than 12 years, the man has been separated from his family, while his two children were with the mother in Gujarat. Relatives informed the police that he used to say that Nirma was the reason for his separation from the family. Shivlal had come to attend a wedding in Isali village on Monday but had other intentions in mind.

While the marriage ceremony was going on, the accused took the children to a secluded place. He took Nirma away after asking her younger daughter to wait. After slitting her throat, he poured petrol over her and put fire. When he returned, his younger daughter felt suspicious seeing blood on his hand and informed the others. While the others rushed to the spot, the body had already been charred to death.

The police said that the investigation is on and the body has been shifted for post-mortem.
