Union Minister calls for implementation of National Education Policy in Kerala

THRISSUR: Union Minister of State, Dr Rajkumar Ranjan Singh, emphasized the need to implement the National Education Policy in Kerala during the 45th State Conference of the National Teachers' Council (NTU). He highlighted issues such as students seeking education outside Kerala, delays in course completion, drug use and campus violence, which tarnish the education system's credibility.

Dr Singh stressed the importance of schemes like skill development and vocational education for comprehensive development. Key speakers at the event included ABRSM National Joint Organizing Secretary G Laxman, General Secretary Sivananda Sinthangara and others.
