CHENNAI: Actor Rajinikanth said that he is afraid to even open his mouth during the election time. The actor said this when he came to attend a hospital inauguration at Vadapalani in Chennai the other day. Rajinikanth also said that he didn’t want to speak as many journos would be present.
‘When elections are around the corner, the words are easily twisted. Seeing so many cameras at a time, am even scared to breathe. I am scared to attend an inauguration as many start the rumor that he owns the place or shares the profit from it. A few years ago, the actor was admitted in the same hospital for a major surgery and said that he came for the inauguration keeping this in mind. He thanked the doctors and nurses for bringing him back to life,’ the actor said.
Meantime, Rajinikanth's next release is Vettaiyan, written and directed by T J Gnanvel. This film has a huge cast including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati and Manju Warrier. The shooting of this movie started in October in Thiruvananthapuram last year. It is also reported that Rajini and his team will soon reach Thiruvananthapuram for the next schedule.
