Mobile fraud gang's rampage in capital city: Five attacks in 14 hours, two stabbed

NEW DELHI: Attacks by mobile phone fraud gangs are becoming widespread in the national capital. The group targeted five people in just 14 hours in Mayur Vihar and nearby areas. In the attack, two of them were stabbed and injured.

All five attacks took place within a radius of two kilometers last day. With this, the fear of the people of Delhi has turned into a dream of Mayur Vihar and surrounding areas. Delhi Police says that they have started an investigation into the incident. The police said that it is possible that the same group is behind all the five attacks. FIRs have been registered in Mayur Vihar police station in five cases. The police also informed that two people who were stabbed during the gang's attack were admitted to the hospital.

The mobile fraud gang carried out the attack between 4 pm on September 1 and 6:30 am on September 2. The police said that these people are targeting people who are talking on mobile phones on the roadside. The group arrives on a bike wearing black helmets. The police are proceeding with the investigation focusing on the CCTV footage of the area.
