THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Congress party said no hasty decision should be taken on Nilambur MLA P V Anvar's entry into the UDF, who had severed ties with the LDF. The leaders are of the opinion that Anvar need to clarify on many things. The stand is that Anvar should give clarification on the remarks against Rahul Gandhi and the corruption allegations against opposition leader V D Satheesan. The leaders have demanded the leadership to consider Anvar's entry into the UDF only after this.

KPCC chief K Sudhakaran had responded on this issue the other day. He said that he has no personal objection in taking Anvar into the front. His explanation was that Anvar is a good friend and former colleague. Although agree on the political issues raised by Anvar, his entry into the front has not been discussed so far, Ramesh Chennithala MLA had responded yesterday. Panakkad Sadikali Shihab Thangal had met with Anvar, who was arrested following the protest against the Forest Act amendment.

The KPCC office bearers' meeting will be held in Thiruvananthapuram today after 2:30 pm. More leaders are likely to respond to the Anwar issue in this meeting. The meeting will also discuss party reorganization and present political events.
