Malayali Aaradhya Devi is making her debut on the silver screen with famous director Ram Gopal Varma's film 'Saree'. She changed her name from Sreelakshmi Satheesh to Aaradhya Devi. She had earlier said that she would not do glamorous roles. However, Aaradhya, had gained viral fame as 'Saree girl' through a photo shoot on social media. She has now said that she has no regrets about the words she said at that time.

‘I have no regrets on what I said at that time, because it reflected my feelings at that time. My situation then was different. I had said then that I would not do glamorous roles. Now I think that diverse characters will fuel our craft as an actress.

I did a character like the girl next door. It was not glamorous at all. However, the villain in it thinks that she is a sexy girl. His fantasy is glamorous role. I don’t regret to what I said then. Glamour is different for each person. For some, it may be clothes and for some emotions. Today, glamour has many interpretations for me. I will never blame the twenty-two-year-old me in future. I will do all kinds of characters,’ she said.

Aaradhya also said why she changed her name to Sreelakshmi. 'I never liked the name Sreelakshmi. I'm not blaming anyone. When we go to attend a class, there will be five or six Sreelakshmis. I had always wanted a different name. I would always tell my parents why they chose this name. I changed my name when I got a chance,’ she said.
