A R Rahman discharged from hospital, he is fine, says son

CHENNAI: Music composer A R Rahman admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Chennai has been discharged from the hospital. The composer’s son A R Ameen responded to the media about his health. He said that his father developed uneasiness due to dehydration as he has also been fasting for Ramzan. Rahman's daughter Raheema also responded on social media. I thank everyone who prayed for his health. I am grateful for your love and care; she said in the note shared.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin has also responded. He was in touch with the hospital to know about his health. Stalin said that he is happy to know that he is fine now. He was admitted to Apollo Hospital on Greams Road in Chennai at 7:30 Sunday morning. Tests including ECG and echocardiogram were conducted.

Rahman, who was in London, returned to Chennai the other day. He is a musician with a fan base of millions all over the world. The news that AR Rahman has recovered and left the hospital is a relief to his fans.
