Plantation worker dies after tree falls on her

IDUKKI: A plantation worker died after a tree fell on her. The incident happened at Kadasikkadavu in Idukki. The dead is Elizabeth of Uthamapalayam at Theni in Tamil Nadu. The accident happened when Elizabeth and other workers were working in the cardamom plantation.

The tree fell when the workers were engaged in their work. Seeing this, Elizabeth and others ran away, but a part of the tree fell on her leg. Although she sustained injuries on her leg in the accident, the initial conclusion is that this was not the cause of death. It is suspected that she suffered a heart attack while running to escape from the tree falling on her. The body has been shifted to a private hospital in Anakkara for postmortem.
