'Treacherous and unforgivable'; Malayali community in Dubai gives heroic welcome to Pak warmonger Afridi

DUBAI: There is no stopping the sharp taunts and opprobrium targeting the Malayali community in Dubai after they gave a heroic welcome to Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi at a function organized abroad the other day. BJP leader K Surendran and others have condemned the incident. Afridi had earlier made taunts against India and even justified the barbaric Pahalgam attack that took the lives of 26 innocent Indians.

“This is India’s handiwork. They kill their people and put all blame on Pakistan”, This was Afridi’s remarks after the Pahalgam attack.

Comments are pouring in torrents calling the Malayali associations’ conduct treacherous and shameful.

"They have insulted the Indians who were martyred in Pahalgam and the soldiers who died heroically to achieve a proud victory against Pakistan. These Malayalees should hang their heads in shame.” Wrote K Suredran on Facebook.
