THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KSRTC employees will mount a strike on Monday under the leadership of Transport Democratic Federation. The strike demands the implementation of salary revision, the end of salary denial, the allowances of blocked grants and promotions, the revoking of appointment ban, and the abandoning of rented vehicles.
The federation president Thampanoor Ravi said that the fund allowed for September’s salary was given on October 11 in two instalments. “After promising 3000 buses within three years, only 101 buses were arranged. This is the first Sabarimala season without any new buses”, Ravi said.
