Youth attempts suicide during LDF's massive human chain 

KOLLAM: The massive human chain formation led by the LDF witnessed dramatic scenes in Kollam as a youth attempted to commit suicide by slitting his wrist. The youth, who was seriously injured, was immediately taken to Thiruvananthapuram Medical College.

According to police, the youth named Ajoy is a native of Randam Kutty in Kollam and has been suffering from a mental disorder. Meanwhile, the human chain led by the LDF was formed across the state from Kasargod to Kaliyakkavilai. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan participated in the human chain from Thiruvananthapuram.
