THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Congress leaders seem to be confused regarding their stance the recent revelations in connection with the solar incident. The question is whether the solar incident should be discussed again as the local body elections are approaching fast. Although KPCC president Mullappally Ramachandran has demanded an inquiry regarding the new revelation, no other Congress leaders responded to this.

It was Kerala Congress B leader and Ganesh Kumar's relative Saranya Manoj who recently revealed that Ganesh Kumar had intervened to add the name of former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy in the solar complainant's letter. Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala has said that raising the issue will not be good for the UDF. Oommen Chandy also shared the same opinion. Chandy said that there is no need for an inquiry and everyone is convinced of what the truth was. In such a situation, it remains to be seen what stand will the KPCC take next. The agency is trying to retrieve the confidential statement of the complainant in the solar case.
