RT-PCR rates at private labs that conduct Covid tests on behalf of govt fixed

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: RT-PCR rates at private labs that conduct Covid tests on behalf of the government have been fixed. In addition to government labs, empanelled private labs also conduct sample tests on behalf of the government.

At present, the normal charge is Rs 500. The rate for testing a sample at empanelled private labs has been fixed at Rs 418.
