HC slams engineers for the deplorable state of roads in state

KOCHI: The High Court warned that if the roads of the state are not repaired properly, the officials in charge of it will be arraigned. The court slammed the engineers and said that if they don’t know how to do it, they can easily resign and go. The court asked the government to inform the details of the maintenance of all roads.

The court harshly criticised the government rejecting the claim of the Kochi Municipal Corporation that the damaged roads could not be repaired immediately. The court asked to stop the justification and new ideas be implemented for a better road. The court asked this to various government departments related to the road.
