Attack on actress was a quotation, there is evidence against Dileep; arrest has been proved right, says former IG

KOCHI: Former IG AV George has reiterated that the attack on the actress was a quotation. According to him, the evidence that was coming out underscored that the attack was a quotation work. He added that there was evidence against Dileep and the arrest was proved right.

"The police did not give any particular consideration to Dileep. He was treated the same way an ordinary person would be treated if he was involved in a similar case. No consideration was given to being an actor or an actress. We considered people as men and women, and the pain that a woman had to go through... that was the only consideration. Significantly, we were not under any pressure from the government or any others," he told a private channel.
