21 injured after KSRTC bus collides with truck

PATHANAMTHITTA: 21 people were injured after a KSRTC bus collided with a truck. The incident took place at Enathu in Adoor at around 12.30 am. The bus, which was traveling from Kottayam to Kottarakkara, collided with a truck that came from the opposite direction.

All the 21 people who sustained injuries were passengers on the bus. They have been admitted to the Adoor Taluk Hospital. According to witnesses, the KSRTC bus lost control and went on to collide with the truck. The fire force team reached the spot and rescued the people from the bus. The preliminary conclusion is that the driver fell asleep, causing the bus to crash into the truck.
