‘Savarkar in DCC president’s Republic Day greetings’; finally withdraws, explanation is as follows

KASARGOD: The picture of Savarkar was seen in DCC President's Republic Day greetings. Savarkar's photo was included along with pictures of Ambedkar, Subhash Chandra Bose, Balagangadhara Tilak, Bhagat Singh and others in the picture posted on Facebook.

When the incident stoked a controversy, DCC president P K Faisal came forward with an explanation. His explanation was that it was a mistake from the side of the person who designed the poster. He said that he had removed the post as soon as he realized the mistake and that his Facebook page is being managed by an office staff.
