India win more medals at Asian Games: Esha Singh takes silver in shooting, Pincky Balhara wins bronze in kurash

NAGOYA: India added more medals to its tally at the Asian Games, with young shooter Esha Singh winning silver in the women's 25m air pistol individual event and Pincky Balhara securing bronze in the women's 78kg kurash category.

Esha lost the gold medal to China's Jiaruixuan Xiao after a closely fought final. The two shooters were locked at 38-38 after completing the final five shots, forcing a shoot-off to decide the gold medal. Xiao eventually won the gold in the second shoot-off, leaving Esha with the silver medal.

Meanwhile, Pincky Balhara won the bronze medal in the women's 78kg kurash category. She lost 0-5 to South Korea's Sumin Mo in the semi-final held at the Aichi Prefectural Martial Arts Hall.
