Modi gifts model of a small train in silver to Biden and shawl to his wife 

WASHINGTON: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a three-day visit to the US. Modi held bilateral talks with President Joe Biden in his hometown Wilmington, Delaware for the annual Quad Summit.

Modi's gifts to Biden are being discussed on social media. Modi gifted Biden a model of a small train in silver and a pashmina shawl to First Lady Jill Biden. The old model train is built by the farmers of Maharashtra.

One side of the train also features Delhi-Delaware symbolizing Modi's visit. Indian Railways is also written on the other side. 92.5 percent of it is made of silver. Modi presented Jill Biden a Kashmiri pashmina shawl. This shawl is soft and has good strength.

Meantime, it is reported that Modi and Joe Biden discussed many things. The two leaders discussed the purchase of 31 MQ-9B Predator drones from the US and the establishment of a semiconductor plant in Kolkata. Defense cooperation between the two countries, including joint military exercises, was also discussed.

India is buying 31 General Atomics MQ-9B drones from the US, including six aerial surveillance drones and 15 maritime surveillance drones. Maritime surveillance drones will be provided to the Navy and eight aerial surveillance drones each to the Air Force and the Armed Forces.
