'Do not help Iran in any way, the country that does so will face severe consequences,' warns Trump

WASHINGTON: As the Western conflict enters its sixth month, US President Donald Trump has issued a warning to other countries. He has informed that he will take severe economic action against countries that help or have trade relations with Iran. It will be the most powerful economic pressure strategy ever used against any country, informed Trump on Truth Social. He added that he had given Iran a great opportunity to reach an agreement, buy they did not take advantage of it.

Iran will now face economic sanctions and isolation like never before. Financial institutions, businesses, airports, and government entities in countries that authorize or facilitate the provision of any form of financial or technological assistance to Iran could face significant financial consequences. I will not name any country, but those countries know it. All allies must stand with the United States to threaten and defeat Iran. Iran will never build a nuclear weapon,' Trump stated.

Meantime, Iran had also warned yesterday that Gulf countries that support the US will be considered enemies. It also questioned how US tanker aircraft are being stationed in the region without the knowledge of the respective countries. Iran is sending a clear message that further attacks on the Gulf are likely.
