BENGALURU: The police have arrested a 65-year-old woman for performing black magic on the chair of the judge. The arrested has been identified as Manjula. She was taken into custody for entering the courtroom and performing black magic on the chair of the judge at the first additional senior judge and JMFC Court at Chikkabellapura in Karnataka.
Manjula, who entered the courtroom without permission, sprinkled white mustard seeds on the chair as part of black magic. The incident came to light when the CCTV clippings were examined two days ago.
A case has been registered and an investigation has started on the complaint filed by Nethra, chief administrative officer of the court. Following that, she was arrested.
The case was registered against Manjula under the Karnataka Prevention and Eradication of Inhuman Evil Practices and Black Magic Act 2017. Manjula has been remanded to 14 days of judicial custody.
