NEW DELHI: Cockroach Janata Party witnessed a rebel move from within for the first time since the group was formed and earned popularity for the student protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar. A new faction, Cockroach Janata Party Democratic (CJPD), has been formed under the leadership of former CJP volunteer Manish Brahmabhatt, a native of Gujarat.
Manish raised serious allegations against CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke in Delhi yesterday.
"Dipke and his cronies tied CJP in Kejriwal's barn. Dipke sold the CJP for the political interests of Aam Aadmi Party. Almost 8 leaders of the CJP were active in the Aam Aadmi Party. They are only interested in opposing the BJP. The youth have raised this issue with their sweat and blood. Their issues are not being taken up.” Manish also said that a new team under the leadership of the people will be elected.
Manish also said the WhatsApp number 7863018064 will be used for the public to join the party. In August, Manish protested in front of Dipke's house in Sambhaji Nagar, Maharashtra. He alleged that grassroots activists were being excluded from CJP’s core team.
