BHOPAL: A dentist who made disparaging remarks, scoffing and justifying the murder of Ketan Agarwal was suspended for five years from service. The action was taken against Dr Muskan Soni, the Madhya Pradesh treasurer of the All-India Dental Students and Surgeons Association.
She was suspended from the primary membership of the organisation. The national leadership of the organisation condemned Muskan Soni's response to the death that shocked the nation. Not only will she not be able to work in the organisation, but Soni will also be banned from applying for any dental job during this period.
In an Instagram post which she shared after Ketan’s murder, Soni wrote that she hated men and went on to make crude and disrespectful comments, even mocking Ketan's baldness. After the issue turned controversial, Muskan Soni, contemplating the scale of the damage, apologised for her comments and even deleted the post.
Ketan Agarwal, a popular realtor, was pushed from a fort in Pune by his fiancée, Siya Goyal, after conspiring with her beau, Chetan. The death first seemed like an accident, but CCTV visuals brought out the shocking details of a murder. Both Siya and Chetan are under arrest.
