Operation Sindoor hero to become first CEO of Ram Temple Trust

LUCKNOW: Retired Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra, who led the air operations of Operation Sindoor, was appointed the first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. Jitendra Mishra retired from the Indian Air Force in April this year. He is one of the senior military commanders to be recognised for his leadership in Operation Sindoor.

President Droupadi Murmu awarded Mishra the 'Sarvottam Yudh Seva Medal' for distinguished service of the highest standard in war and conflict situations. It is one of the rare military honours in India. The new assignment was given in recognition of his outstanding performance.

Jitendra Mishra's experience in operational planning, coordination, logistics and control of large military units is expected to be beneficial for the Ayodhya Trust. Jitendra Mishra is a native of Bhopatpura in Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh. This village is about three hours' drive from Ayodhya by road.

As the CEO of the Ram Temple Trust, Jitendra Mishra will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the temple, facilities for pilgrims, financial arrangements, coordination of staff and coordination with security forces. His appointment is seen as a crucial step to manage administrative requirements more efficiently in the face of an increasing number of pilgrims visiting the Ram Temple.
