Youth dies after wife hits him on head with phone during fight

ODISHA: A youth died after his wife hit him on his head with a mobile phone during a family dispute. A verbal dispute that broke out in the house ended in the unexpected tragedy.

In a fit of rage, she threw the mobile phone when the fight escalated. He sustained serious injuries after the phone struck his head. Though she immediately rushed him to a hospital, his life could not be saved. The police have taken her into custody.

The police' initial findings are that the murder was not preplanned. All possibilities are being examined, including whether it was an unexpected incident. The police said further steps in the case will be taken after receiving the postmortem report and other scientific evidence.
