Nursing officer arrested in Kollam for sexually assaulting 16-year-old bystander

KOLLAM: A nursing officer has been taken arrested following a complaint of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl who accompanied a patient. Migdad, a nurse at the Kollam ESI Hospital and a YouTuber, was taken into custody by the Kollam East Police. A native of Poonthura in Thiruvananthapuram, he has been booked under the provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

The incident happened on September 8. The accused assaulted the girl when she entered the lift. Following the incident, the girl and her family approached the police station and filed a complaint. The accused was detained from the hospital last night. Police said that he is active on social media and is a food vlogger on YouTube.
