Two BJP workers attacked in Malappuram; party alleges CPM role

MALAPPURAM: Two BJP workers were injured after being attacked with sharp weapons at Kappil in Wandoor, Malappuram. The BJP has alleged that CPM activists were behind the attack. The injured were identified as Vishakh and Jithin, natives of Kappil.

The attack happened at Kappil town, where both of them suffered injuries to their hands. They were given initial treatment at a private hospital in Wandoor and were later shifted to another private hospital in Perinthalmanna for further treatment. The BJP has alleged that CPM workers were responsible for the attack. Further details about the incident are awaited.
