Drug bust in Thiruvananthapuram: Two arrested with 120 grams of MDMA on Kovalam bypass

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A major drug bust has been reported in Thiruvananthapuram as part of 'Operation Toofan'. Two youths were arrested with 120 grams of MDMA, hashish oil and cannabis on the Kovalam bypass. The arrested persons have been identified as Akhil and Sachu.

The accused, who tried to evade and escape from the police while attempting to smuggle drugs, were bravely cornered and apprehended by the City DANSAF team along with the police. The police are conducting a further investigation into the suspects and the sources that supplied them with the drugs.
