'Will repeat that 'wrong' again, won't change stance'; KSU state president responds to Chief Minister's ignorance

KOCHI: Kerala Students Union state president Aloshious Xavier responded to reports of Chief Minister VD Satheesan deliberately ignoring him at a function. Aloshious said his politics is to smile and exchange social pleasantries with dignitaries. The tiff between the two leaders is happening at a time of difference between the Chief Minister and the KSU over the appointment of a pleader.

“When you see the chief minister, you smile and exchange social pleasantries. That is the politics I learned. I don’t know whether the CM saw me at the function. The government committed a small lapse regarding the appointment of the government pleader. KSU pointed out that so the government could rectify. It is not criticism. If the government finds that wrong, then we are hell-bent on repeating that wrong. I will try to meet the Chief Minister again and share my concerns," said Aloshious Xavier.

The Chief Minister and Aloshious Xavier attended the event at Sacred Heart College, Thevara. After speaking on the stage, the Chief Minister left without seeing Aloshious Xavier. Aloshious waited for the Chief Minister but was not provided with attendance.
