Case against man for brutally assaulting wife for not serving fish fry

PATHANAMTHITTA: A woman has filed a complaint against her husband for assaulting her brutally for not serving him fish fry. The complaint was filed by Suja, wife of Reji of Padiyara House at Aithala in Ranni. The police have registered a case.

Her complaint says that Reji came home drunk and assaulted her after complaining that there were not enough curries and fish fry. Her complaint said that she sustained injuries on her face and back in the assault.

Suja has also handed over the footage of the assault to the police. The woman said the attack was regular and filed a complaint as she could not tolerate it. The Ranni police have registered a case and started an investigation into the incident.
