THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Taliparamba MLA TK Govindan demanded an enquiry into CPM Kannur District Secretary KK Ragesh's income before and after he entered politics. Govindan said that Ragesh was just a wiring technician before entering politics and also warned CPM cadres, including Ragesh, to restrict personal attacks or else threatened to reveal details that would hurt many, including the top echelons in CPM. Govindan was speaking at a press conference in Thiruvananthapuram.
“I might have discussed many things while being in CPM. It is not my style to reveal those details after leaving the party. However, some people are working desperately to make me reveal those details. I have details that would give sleepless nights to CPM leaders.
CPM is blaming people for the party's election defeat. Instead of accepting mistakes and changing their style, CPM and their leaders are personally defaming people. The former Chief Minister, a member of the Politburo, did not mention anything that was found in the party's central committee. Leaders, including Pinarayi, made speeches in Taliparamba and Payyannur, ignoring the findings of the central committee," said TK Govindan.
