KALPETTA: A case has been registered against a KSU leader for attacking the police during a protest march in Kalpetta demanding the resignation of the Union Education Minister in protest against the irregularities in NEET exam. The case was registered in the incident where KSU district president advocate Gautham Gokul Das slapped a policeman during a march staged by the youth congress to the Kalpetta post office. The case is against Gautham for obstructing the official duty and slapping a policeman.
A verbal dispute broke out between the leaders and the police during a protest staged by the Youth Congress in Kalpetta demanding the resignation of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan against the irregularities in NEET exam. In between the heated exchanges, the district president slapped the policeman. The footage of the incident went viral quickly. The police later registered a case.
