Clash breaks out between BJP and UDF members at Thiruvananthapuram Corporation

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A clash broke out between BJP and UDF members at the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation after the council meeting ended. UDF councillors alleged that BJP members snatched the attendance register while they were signing it and attempted to tear the document.

Congress councillors alleged that BJP members passed the agenda amid protests and left the meeting, calling the move unacceptable.

UDF councillor K. S. Sabarinadhan alleged that BJP councillor Chempazhanthy Udayan physically assaulted UDF members, including women councillors. He made the allegations while speaking to the media.
