THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned a possibility of rain in the state again. The rain is returning after the formation of a cyclonic circulation over the northwest Bay of Bengal and nearby areas. The notification says that it is also likely to strengthen into a low-pressure area by August 12. The low-pressure area is presently over Madhya Pradesh.

Kerala is expected to experience light to moderate rainfall from today to the 14th, so be cautious. The IMD has issued the new warning as waterlogging due to heavy rains in the state in the past few days is still ongoing.
