KANNUR: Officials of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) visited Pinarayi, the hometown of Opposition Leader Pinarayi Vijayan, on Tuesday and inspected and photographed a parcel of land near his residence as part of an ongoing inquiry.
A team of ED officials from Kochi arrived at around 10.30 a.m. The team then visited the Pinarayi Village Office with the land deed of a property registered in the name of Vijayan's daughter, T. Veena, and collected related records, including the latest land tax receipt.
Accompanied by the Village Officer, the ED team then inspected the property at Edakkadavu, behind the substation on the Pinarayi-Parapram Road. The team photographed the nearly 80-cent property during the inspection.
