KSRTC EXECUTIVE CLASS BUS

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KSRTC's luxury buses will soon start service in the state. The state-of-the-art Volvo buses purchased during the previous government's tenure will be on the roads from the 13th of this month. The buses are starting service with major changes.

The buses will be known as 'Executive Class' as proposed by the current Transport Minister CP John, replacing the 'Business Class' name given by former Transport Minister KB Ganesh Kumar. There is also a proposal to change the colour of the bus. It is estimated that this will cost an additional Rs. 1 lakh.

The service is operated on the Thiruvananthapuram - Ernakulam and Alappuzha - Bengaluru routes. The executive class buses have premium facilities similar to the business class on Emirates flights. Pantry, washroom, individual TV for each passenger, Wi-Fi, and mobile charging facilities will be available.

Although it was earlier announced that the 'bus hostess' service would be available on both buses, according to the new decision, this service will be exclusive for buses plying on the Thiruvananthapuram - Ernakulam route.

From now on, you can book bus tickets through WhatsApp. The service will be available in languages including Malayalam and English. Tickets can be booked by calling 9447071021.
