Youth true treasure of our nation. Listen: Megastar Mammootty comes out to support student protest

KOCHI: Actor Mammootty came out in support of the student protest taking place at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi. In a Facebook post, Mammootty wrote that the authorities should be ready to listen to the youth.

“The youth are the true treasure of our nation. Listen,” Mammootty wrote on Facebook.

Many celebrities, including superstars, have come forward to support the student movement happening in New Delhi. Mammootty's son and actor Dulquer Salmaan had earlier supported the protest.

Actors Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Kunchacko Boban, Kalidas Jayaram, Joju George, and actresses Parvathy Thiruvoth, Rima Kallingal, Nikhila Vimal, and Vismaya Mohanlal are the bevvy of actors from Mollywood who expressed support for the movement.

Even many celebrities from Mollywood reached Jantar Mantar in person to support the protest.
